About Me

I’m Jessica Roth — a finance nerd, award-winning grad student, and someone who actually enjoys spreadsheets (so you don’t have to). I’m one course away from completing my Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Agriculture (in Agricultural Business). This program has consisted of 20 business courses, 2 sociology courses, and one policy course.

I’ve spent 11 years as a sole proprietor, and 4 years as an accountant in the licensed cannabis space. I work primarily with artists, tradespeople, and alternative entrepreneurs who want transparency, privacy, and no corporate nonsense.

While I offer the utmost in confidentiality, I want to be clear: I will not break the law in any way. I help you comply, not conceal.

What I Offer

• Monthly Bookkeeping: This means I track your income, expenses, and GST. This also gives you the info you need to set and achieve financial goals.
• Full-cycle Payroll
• GST/HST Filing: Every business making over $30,000 per year should have a GST number. This means you must collect and pay GST, but it also means that you can deduct the GST you paid for items you purchased from the GST you collect and pay to the CRA. To provide this service, I will require your legal name.
• Year-End Prep
• Document Organizing

Rates

$50/hour

$15 document & receipt pickup — only available within a 25-minute drive of Argyll Road & 91 Street.

Payment Options

Credit cards accepted with a 3% fee. No fee for e-transfers. I do not accept crypto, as it is the least confidential form of payment. I will consider barter for tradespeople, artists, and those in the food industry.
